Project Briefing

The client required an experienced engineer to attend the Oxford Street store to replace 10 broken advertisement LED screens.

Project Tasks

  • Project briefing received from central IT support (located in Spain)
  • Reboot That (RBT) help desk ticket created – centralising communication with all parties involved
  • Arranged collection of replacement screens from a London address
  • Stored screens at RBTs offices until the installation date
  • Arranged delivery of replacement screens to the Oxford Street store (on installation date)
  • Engineer attended site and contacted the store manager
  • Engineer installed screens within allotted time
  • Informed relevant contacts of the process every step of the way (updated ticket – including images)
  • Received sign-off signature from store manager
  • Notified central IT support before leaving site
  • Project completed

Challenges

  • The screen installations were performed during store opening times
  • Great care was taken in not preventing client purchases while the screens were being installed
  • Wall mounts required step ladders and tools to disassemble
